What if you could push the dial on that one issue you’re particularly passionate about? What if instead of trying to raise awareness by posting articles on social media, you got in there and addressed the issue head-on? 

It’s a waste to bring together today’s brightest innovators, entrepreneurs, CEOs and thought leaders just to talk about what the future could look like. That’s why this year, Feast Impact East is introducing “action pods,” a new space that invites the community to share what they’ve got, spark new ideas, and create tangible change.

Action Pods are comprised of two parts: A maker’s station and innovation showcase.

”A” Side of Action Pod: Maker Station: an interactive space (build, make, do, act, etc.) for participants to create physical solutions towards a selected challenge that we desire to solve.

“B” Side of Action Pod: Innovation Showcase: a communal area to showcase small panels and roundtable discussions around a specific topic. Also present are demonstrations of products that have the potential to change the future.

The action pods capitalize on everyone’s unique skill sets to stimulate movement around topics that are paramount to the feast community. We’re in the trenches together as we find creative solutions to combat issues ranging from the drought in California to inequality in the STEM field.
